THE GOD PARTICLE AKA HIGGS BOSON!
You may wonder how the particles gets mass. Apparently higgs boson are the answer of this curious question which I thought for like months. Basically higgs boson are the particles which are produced when providing energy to higgs field. These particles combines further with other particle to provide mass. As we discuss how particles are created according to quantum field theory in previous blog. Similarly there is a field named higgs field and when a particle with no mass but with energy travels through this it forms a ripple and hence higgs boson is created which combines with the particle and gains mass. Suppose we provide energy to electromagnetic field then it creates ripple and form electrons but that electrons don't have mass so after this process it travels to higgs field where it gets mass so we can say that higgs field is a machine which provides mass to the particles when it enters through it.
Some particles react in higgs field like electrons,quarks but some doesn't react with it like photons that is why photons don't have mass and electrons do.
EXPERIMENTAL PROOF
It is proved experimentally by large hadron collider.The Large Hadron Collider is the world's largest and highest-energy particle collider and the largest machine in the world. When two particles are bombarded or collapse to each other then it spreads energy and also spreads its internal parts when observing scientists found higgs boson and plotted in the graph.
MY THEORY
1. What i think is that if objects interacts with higgs field its speed decreases because it reacts with the field itself. Just like if we travel at a road full of mud then our speed is decreased because we react as order of friction but speed is way different if we walk on oily road. That is why as electrons react with higgs field and photons don't react with it there is a chance that electrons speed may be lesser than photons.
2. It is not exactly sensible but i think that the reason photons don't interact with higgs field is because of its high speed.Its like a loop that photons don't interact with higgs field because of its high speed and it's high speed is because it doesn't react with higgs field.
Ps : They are called god particle because
it's just a nickname made by a scientist as it sounds cool. It was found by Francois Englert and Peter Higgs, is so small that its discovery took 40 years.
